Both of these horses are great prospects for what I call a “family horse”, one that is athletic and talented enough to be handy and take to town, yet laid back and trustworthy enough for inexperienced riders. A horse that can get any job done and then drop his head and be ridden on a loose rein. A horse that fits a variety of settings; pack trips, hunting, ranchwork, or going to the arena. It’s all about disposition and both of these colts have it. I have owned them both since before they were a year old and have been able to see that everything was done correctly from the beginning.
They have both been ridden out on big circles, have sorted, driven cattle, branded, and doctored. You can take these colts and get your work done. They have been hauled lots, often head and tailed and packed in like sardines. They both can back out of a trailer, good to shoe, don’t pull back and are gentle and easy to be around. They are far along and just need someone to take them on and finish them out.
